CUSTOM AND MADE TO ORDER
Creating artwork that is unique to you
CUSTOM PAINTING SERVICES
As a professional eCommerce Independent Art Store, we believe that buying art should be fun, exciting, and enjoyable. Moreover, it's an investment and your artwork will be on display for all visitors to see. This service is designed to meet the needs of art buyers, and help them find the inspiration to come away with a piece they absolutely love. On this page are examples of custom works of art we have collaborated on previously.
These custom pieces include "made to order" based on the customer's requirements of size, shape, colors, and paint style. Additionally, most existing canvases can be customized. For example, epoxy resin can be added for protection and to enhance the colors and details of the artwork. Another option is to have the painting embossed (by hand) such as in the Lotus and Butterfly examples below.
Please contact us directly, by email, call, or text, to discuss your vision of the custom piece you desire.
NEW MEXICO PROJECT
The majority of the pieces we create are on commercially available canvases however, this custom project was a private commission specifically created to be displayed in an alcove above a fireplace. The "canvas" is constructed from 5mm finish-grade plywood with one-inch thick pine as the frame.
"New Mexico teal" and white were used to create the base and royal blue and gold were applied by a method called Dutch Pouring.
Finally, a coating of epoxy resin was applied for added durability and, most of all, to bring out the vibrant colors and details of this exquisite piece.
BROCK'S LOTUS
This was a custom project where the colors and style of pour were specifically selected. Additionally, the customer requested a lotus flower be embossed onto the painting then be coated in resin.
PURPLE BUTTERFLIES
The center and left canvases were existing, stock items which a customer knew their mother-in-law would love. When they were presented, the decision was made to create a trio that complimented one another and the far-right piece was added. Furthermore, the mother-in-law wanted butterflies added to the center painting. The two golden butterflies in flight were embossed onto the painting and all three were covered with epoxy resin.
